"Unpatched" from 8.9 to 7.23

I have no idea how, but I had to restart my computer because of internet issues (only takes around a minute, so not too bad), and then when I started my LOL back up, it was on patch 7.23.

I have no idea what kinda dark magic could have done this but has anyone ever had this problem before?
