No Keyboard and Mouse input while in game

This is serious Riot, I have reinstalled the game, I have repaired the client multiple times. I updated to the new client and it does not matter what I do, every time I start a new game, I just cannot move or click anything in the UI. It just simply does not do anything. I have tried different mouse and keyboard and unplugging and plugging in my devices several times. I can do anything within the client but I can't do anything once the game starts. It has been like this for a week and I cannot be the only person in the world having this problem. Can we get a fix for this or can you recommend what I need to do to get it working again?

I doubt this is the most optimal strat, but i've had some pretty big bugs before and after uninstalling and reinstalling a couple times it gets fixed. good luck and hopefully you find a better fix lol

Had a bug the other day where, at the end of the match, the mouse was suddenly flung to the top-left corner and locked in place. Multiple mice, actually. Kept up, even outside of League, until I force-crashed the game via keyboard.

This is behavior more commonly associated with malware. You'd think there'd be some form of response by now, but it's increasingly unsurprising that there isn't.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, it's probably something to do with the game and the new client fighting eachother for control, since the client keeps adding more and more instances where it suddenly forces itself to become the active application.
