Fizz E/Playful Trickster not working

I was playing fizz and my e/playful trickster grayed out for a long period of time randomly oming back and able to be used before going away again. towards the end of the game i was able to make the e not gray and useable by qing in on people from max range. Is this happening to anyone else?
