Mordkaiser gold income item bug

Mordkaiser with targons. Whenever he has the item and a ghost out, he will share the gold with the ghost that gives him the gold as well, making him get two kills for the price of one. Can someone look into this, I dont have a video of it.

I believe a Rioter has acknowledged its existence and stated that it was acceptable.

Can't recall who or where though.
