All keybindings and in-game preferences reset to default

Just hopped on today after updating client and realized very quickly into my game that all my keybindings and preferences were reset. My setup is quite particular and just trying to fix it while playing the game was near impossible. I fed in my game and we got stomped. Why would a client update reset keybindings without notifying players? A lot of us play with different setups and having that cause a ranked loss is just frustrating.
