[CRASH] Client crashing when in ranked champion select

While in champion select for ranked summoner's rift, right when the last couple people were making their selections the client closed out completely with a ''league is not responding" error message. Reopened the client, I was no longer in queue but I also was not deducted LP from my account. I then re-entered queue and the game crashed again right when it was my turn to ban and I selected a champ. Same error message came up saying that league is not responding and the game closed out completely. When I reopened the game, I had lost lp and now had to wait to re-enter queue.

To replicate the issue:

1: Select Play 2: Select Classic>Summoner's Rift>Ranked 3: Follow the process normally and it will crash at some point in the champion select screen whether you, or a party member do something.

This has happened twice in a row, within a 10 minute period of one another. I had restarted my computer completely after the first crash to ensure there weren't any issues on my end as well, but sure enough, right when I queued up the second time it happened. I played several matches back to back before these and had no issues.
