Server Status

so, I get out of a game, and try to join a new one, and it says I'm already in a game and I need to restart the client, when I do it says I have abandoned a game and wont let me reconnect. so I imagine this is another one of riots server problems once again. one of the largest companies and richest companies, youd think that they could keep their game up and running. ive never had a problem with dota, or smite, yet league makes more money than both combined but the server is absolute shit. logic behind that please?
