Hovering Over friends doesnt tell you if theyre in a match anymore

So i dont know if this is a bug or feature that Riot removed but hovering over your friends list no longer gives you a game report. Doesnt say what game mode they're in, how long theyve been in it. or even a prfile preview. NOTHING! can anyone explain what this might be?
