Gold - Floating text missing?

Hello.

I've had this issue for a loonnnngg time. As in, many months. It's playable without it, but its pretty annoying.

Whenever i play league, i never get the little text that shows gold pop up above after last hitting or killing a monster. How do i fix it? It never shows no matter what i do. I've tried turning it off/on in the interface, and i've reinstalled many times. I've ran out of options. Please help.
