Varus Gameplay

Recently after the new patch 5.14 I was in a game with a Varus, sometimes when he attempted to shoot off his "q" it would travel half the distance and disappearing. The disappearing affect made it so his "q" did zero damage and the ability still took his mana and cooldown on the ability. This can be copied by going into any match type and shooting off Varus' "q", none of his other abilities were affected to the extent this was. I'm not sure if this glitch has ever occurred to anybody else, or it happens all the time. It's been about a few days since this event and bugs after patches are extremely common.
