Hey guys....so after updating my laptop from windows 8 to windows 10, League of legends login screen has been black. I don't know if its the updates fault, the computers fault, or Ritos fault..... does anyone have an idea on how to fix this?
Right click your launcher "Properties > Compatibility, check "Disable Display Scaling on high DPI settings", "Run as administrator", and then uncheck compatibility mode" do this. i just did it and i can see everything.
Dude your not the only one I've been researching how to fix this problem for the last 2 hour's and nothing has worked. Maybe it's a compatibility problem with windows 10 but yeah Same thing happened with me. I just upgraded from windows 8 to 10 and league was working fine on 8 but now on 10 black login screen Please help me i am begging you League is like bae to me!

Ok I tried a bunch of different things and I finally got it to work by going into the file and went to the lol.launcher.admin application and went into that file by right clicking properties then compatibility took the check off the compatibility mode and only have the checks on Disable DIsplay Scaling on high DPI setting and run this as an administrator. Make sure you launch the lol.launcher.admin. In my file there is a separate lol.launcher and the above one. Mine works great no crashes yet. I was having the same issue as all of you this worked.
The fault is DirextX and LoL client compatibility. Here is the solution that worked for me. The second one anyways, the first "solution" didnt do
