Tryndamere's Ultimate not working [Gamebreaking Bug]

Being Tryndamere, I easily survived the first Rammus gank, but not the second one. I activated my ultimate ability (as both the cooldown and the champion's yell indicate) but I still died a second later, when I should've been left with 1 health point.
