Bug on Noc ult?????

If someone has a Banshee's Veil and a Nocturne on the enemy team ults. why does it remove said Banshee;s Veil.. You're not absorbing an ability and even if you did, you still can't see anything after the Banshee's is popped.. Is this the way it's intended? Because if so that't pretty stupid. LOL
