I can't change my ward skin in the loading screen

I'm not quite sure when it exactly happened. One thing I know is that after I got a dark star ward from hextech chest I can't change my ward in the loading screen anymore. I can't even change my ward to the normal one. Anyone experiencing the same? PLs help...

Yeah ward lockout is a known bug and happens infrequently during champ select.
