I have been trying to download League since November but every time it always stops at 260 MB remaining. I have been having this issue since 4.21 and it is now 5.1 and still the same bug, it always crashes at 260-280 MB left. I have tried everything but always stops at 260 MB even on my laptop, I have tried waiting it out but all it does is crash my computer. If I try closing and reopening the downloader it always starts again from the 33% mark. I have no idea if the issue is with me or Riot but I really want to get back to playing but just can't. Up to the point when it stops I download at a rate of about 600-400 KBs but once I get to 260 MB left my download rate just slowly drops to zero and stays there till I restart my computer or it crashes on its own. If any one know anyway to fi this besides a complete system wipe to my computer please let me know

Edit: so its works on the laptop, just not my desk top I am now trying to see if I can copy the files over from the Laptop to the Desktop

edit: really? well sheit... which windows do you have? i heard windows 8 had compatibility issues with lol or maybe its steam itself thats the issue

I have been having the exact same problem with my download! The download stops at exactly 260 MB to go and then the kps slowly drops to 0. This is really annoying, not to mention troll-like Teemo and I have no idea why its happening...

Hi, I know its a bit late 2 answer, but if u hadnt had a right answer yet, maybe I can help you. I had the same problem, on the pc from my mother and mine. I was able to fix it, with resetting my computer (I loaded an backup from where I bought my pc) That fixed it. So maybe you want to try reinstall Windows 7, if it is worth 4 u. Hope it helped a little bit.
