Reverting back to the old League?

So recently I've been getting onto league more since it's break. This has happened before but I'm not sure if it's an issue I'm having or if others are having it too. But recently with playing more I keep getting the notification that league has been restored to its previous version and that it will be updated to the newest version. This happened my second year of playing and now it's happening again. I don't know if it's something I can fix myself or Riot will have to. It would feel great to know others are having this same issue so I don't have to go fixing everything on my computer.
