Xerath's Q causing lag spikes

Notice as soon as I cast my Q, my ping sky rockets. Through out the entire match as long as I don't use the Q nothing changes. My ping stays normal. No other skills cause this. JUST his Q. It's kind of infuriating seeing as that's his main form of poke. If any other information or videos need be posted Then I shall provide them.
