Can't type to team in teambuilder while waiting for players/waiting for game

Title^
Can't send the message that I type. I can type the message with no problem, but when I hit enter (next to the ' key and the one on the number pad) and when I hit the 'send' button it doesn't send the message. The chat was completely blank, and didn't even show the usual client messages, for example: "VayneTheNinja has is not ready" Kinda upsetting :/ I want to type, Riot!!
