Client taking over constantly

Hi, I know for some people this is not a bug but I found it super annoying how the client is constantly taking over and I end up clicking on things I don't mean to click since I'm usually doing something else while waiting for game to start. Is there a way to disable that? It happens in queue, then champ select, then at the last 10 seconds of champ select and then the loading screen takes over. It didn't do that a few months ago
