Game Freezes every game for 3-4 seconds

i have had the issue for awhile now where the game will freeze for 3-4 seconds (normally around the 5-6 minute mark or when a lot of stuff is happening on screen), it usually happens only once or twice a game (though every game) but occasionally it will freeze and unfreeze continuously until i kill the game from task manager and restart.

every other game i play does not have this blatant of issue.

how do i fix this?
