A weird bug that might effect ranked?

So today and yesterday when i logged into league i got "you have qualified for your series!" when i really didnt. Plat 5 with about 30 lp. after playing many league games, nothing happened of course. my lp fluctuated as i won/loss. Anyway i got off and logged back on and it said "you have unsuccsessfully completed your series"!

But i was never in a series. it did this twice. so im a little confused...i dont want to get in my series though and then it messes up. Any reason why this is happeneing? I'm hoping its just a small bug.
