[Crash] Game crashes just after picking champions

I have played a few games in which my game has crashed after selecting champions and launching the game, just to have to continually attempt to reconnect and finally close league of legends outright to be able to load the launcher again and log back into the game. And if it wasn't bad enough, during the games where this does happen, the 'Attempting to reconnect' sign appears and i have to wait another 5 minutes before i can actually play the game. And to finish it all off, I'm rewarded with low priority queue for the next 5 games afterwards. If nothing else, could I please have my queue privileges back?
