For the past 2 days i've been getting some unbearable lag. My ping is usually 78-90ms but now its starting to reach 3000. I know this isn't my internet because i play whenever there's no one in the house. Can anyone help me/ know whats happening?[slayer-jinx-unamused]

That does not mean it is not your internet.
Where are you located, and have you tried doing a traceroute to the server?
If you are using Windows, open up the commandline (you can shift-rightclick desktop to see that as an option), rightclick in the console and paste in the following line (or type it in), then run it.
tracert 104.160.131.3
This will ping every address along the route to the chicago server and tell you the ping, letting you find the slow spot.
you can then google "Whois <slow address>" to see who owns it and report it to riot, they try to work this stuff out internally and with ISPs.
