Why I cant watch others Replay?

Hi all

Some of my friends created a custom game in the morning, and I am going to make a video for that game, so they sent me the .rofl replay file. but I can't open the .rofl file. When i tried to open the file, the League of Legends LOGO just showed 1 sec, and then nothing happened. I tried other 2 replays on another computer still same result. Does anyone know how could I fix it?

Could it be from a previous patch possibly?

all in 9.14 the replay is not a previous patch
