"May be offline"/"Patch to latest version" bug for client

So um, not sure if this is just for me or not. But every time I go to open the client, no matter the status of my internet connection (everything else works perfectly: Spotify, Chrome, literally every other game) it always says that I can't log in because I may be offline. Then I either exit and reload the client, or I initiate a full repair in troubleshooting and it inevitably brings me to "We've restored to an older version. We'll update you to the latest version now" or something like that, I hit the Okay button acknowledging this and then.... NOTHING. It just sits there right back where I started and I can't log in.

Literally game-breaking bc I CAN'T EVEN LOG IN LET ALONE PLAY THE GAME. Rito pls.

I've experienced the same issue since the patch 9.4. I only have time to play one game at my tight schedule and I spend it mostly trying to get to the game in every way possible. The worst of all is that when I finally manage to log in, I'll most likely face another bug: no champions at champion select. I can check it with Practice tool, but once it appears, I have to reopen the client (and start the Battle for Log-in again).

Probably the best 'solution' is: if you manage to log-in, never close the client again.

Having the same issue.

I guess i didn't buy enough 30$ skins to be able to play the game.

Yeah if someone has a fix besides keep trying til it decides to run the game i would love this. The bug happens sporadically and leaves as suddenly and randomly as it appears. It is frustrating to say the least... The game works about as well as my coworkers :D and... well... they don't work...[slayer-jinx-unamused]

Check that your IPv6 settings are shut off in your internet settings. This fixed it for me. I did not turn them on and don't know how it reset itself but it did... maybe check that real quick. Also manually input 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as your DNS addresses. Those refer to google.com or something and it makes your connection much more stable.
