Cant find a match

Hello, so I have been trying to queue up in solo/duo for over an hour and I still can't find a match. I am only Platinum II so there should be plenty of players to be matched with. This seems like a bug with me connecting to the server but my internet is fine and im even on a wired connection. This problem has been happening for the past three days and I have tried to queue for a match so many times, restarting client, restarting computer, using different account, nothing is working. When I queue with friends as the lobby leader however we can find a match really quickly within 3 minutes.
