On any game that I've entered. The V button on my keyboard (aka the retreat ping) when pressed will indicate a regular ping rather then the supposed ping.
This bug is a big problem because of how you communicate with your teammates & not having this ping can make or break a game/teamfight.

Magik cK3 votesI set my retreat ping on my keybinding in game setting. it is still a regular ping. Therefore, yes the Ctrl one works but the keybind of the regular retreat ping will never work even though it is how a lot of players play the game now. I am not willing to play my ranked games without this feature fixed because of how I play this game. This is why I think it affects more then just a yea use "ctrl" to do a retreat ping because of how having consistent pattern to do everything in a league game can mean whether you play like bronze tier or diamond tier. The fundamental property of the game you have learned has been change therefore cannot perform to needed level of play.
Risk of Fate2 votesIt mostly comes down to muscle memory. I learned the hard way on the PBE, playing support and almost getting my team killed multiple times because I kept pinging until they told me the change. Didn't bother to fix it yet, probably going to op to just using the danger ping.

Risk of Fate1 votesSorry, was still kind of waking up but I was trying to say that I feel you in "oh yeah, it's just a new key." Because I'm so used to G and click for my cautions (or was it V?), when it changed over I kept trying to ping caution to only have a regular ping. As such, I almost got my carry killed due to the change. This was on the PBE, first game I hopped into in quite a while so a lot of stuff I had already forgotten which made it even more painful of a change.
CaZolph1 votesi had to change V to danger bind to keep my team away from some area, it really annoying this bug, also in champ select there are some points under title ( runes , masteries ) everything was good till the last update u made, fix it ASAP bcuz i can't play with this issue

I went and double checked my key binds and V is still correctly bound.

DanteLovesPizza1 votesI thought it was just me at first, checked bindings, then restored defaults (forgetting that quick cast is not active by default), even went to 7.5 patch notes to see if the ping was removed and the justification for it (only to find it's not, of course), before finally deciding to Google the issue to see if anyone else has the same issue. Turns out it's a Rito bug. Well played Rito, well played, I wonder that the next troll feature will be, maybe right-click casts the F binding instead of auto attacking?
