I FOUND THE SOLUTION FOR MAC USERS OR AT LEAST I THINK I DID

After my client patched for 5.24 yesterday my client couldn't open the League of Legends game application and would crash after picks and ban phrase was over and LolClient was supposed to shut off. I was surprised because the game worked perfectly last patch. I was going through all the League of Legends files and found a solution. First, right click the League of Legends application that you use to start league of legends (not the one that pops up after picks and ban phrase). Then, go to contents folder, then LOL folder, then RADS. Under RADS folder you will see a folder named solutions. Delete that folder and try opening the League of Legends application again to start league. It should work, at least it did for me.
