Riot Launcher

Good day League community, I'm facing quite the problem as of late and it is related to the new Riot launcher, Firstly I would like to say Props to riot and hope that they know I am looking forward to the new games they pan to introduce because a new launcher brings big changes, yipe!. Secondly I would like to put forward my issues regarding this new launcher and how it has effected me.

Via the past 2 updates when the launcher was introduced i ran into a massive reduction in my broadband speed, Whilst the launcher was active of course. I paid it no mind until i decided to check out a troll players name using op.gg, this allowed me to discover that once the launcher was active I could hardly even run any application which required connection to the internet and when I had closed the application on a dodge then restarted the launcher I realised that my net speed had returned back to its prime.

I'm not sure if I am the only one facing this issue however I would like to request a swift response from Riot in what i may do to resolve this matter, If you would so please.
