Got an s didnt got a chest?
I got an s- with ashe another day but didnt get a chest edit: on aram

Do you currently have a chest available to you to earn? This can be checked in your profile tab. Also have you already earned a chest for ashe this season?
You can only get a chest on champions you have not gotten a chest on previously in the current season. Also, you get one available chest every week with a maximum of 4. Everytime you get a chest that count goes down by one. If you have 0 then you cannot get a chest even if you get an S. You can check how many in the profile tab. It should be under your username. Hope this helped.
