Dodge Timer Issue

While I was in a game, I had a lag after someone banned illaoi and as I waited, i decided to click the client and it started glitching out. I waited for a while until I decided to leave it. Once I reopen league, and start another queue, and boom a 5 minute waiting timer. So I would like to know why this happened. (I was using the old legacy client btw.)
