Can't connect to chat...

Anyone else having this issue? For about a week now I haven't been able to connect to chat when I login. Then after about four manual attempts it connects then drops. Any advice?

First: Make sure you're running League of Legends as an Administrator.
Second: Check your 3rd party apps running, if you're running clean it shouldn't happen.

I've had the same problem, ever since I downloaded the new patch (Snowdown patch). I've repaired my client, flushed my DNS as well as reset my router to ensure it was not an issue on my hardware side. I always run the game on Administrator with no background applications running aside from Curse Voice, and attempted to launch once without it to rule out software issues on my side as well. Nothing has worked so far, leading me to believe that it may be an issue with the new patch. That being said, it would be nice to know which ISP people experiencing the problem have as well, as issues like this in games can sometimes be due to issues between the ISP and the game servers. I currently use Time Warner Cable.

The same thing has happened to me. It has been happening for the past 3 days. Sometimes it doesn't log on and other times it doesn't connect to the chat. Please help.

One thing you can try is to set your clock ahead a few days, then set it back. I have no clue how this works, but when I had a similar problem, this fixed it. Maybe the league client is somehow synced to your system, you'd have to ask the tech people.
