Right about 4 seconds into that video, you'll see Poppy activate her dash-thing and you'll see Graves dash to escape it, just to be teleported back into the wall where Poppy's dash would have landed.

Feels like whenever I play Poppy, dash works perfectly as intended, but when I play against a Poppy, I just magnetize to walls whenever they dash.

This is unfortunately not a bug. The way that position affecting abilities works is that the most recent application of a replacement affect takes priority.

What this means is if you are displaced by effect #1, but half way during that effect are affected by effect #2. Effect #2 will negate the displacement of effect #1

For Example:

  • Tristana tries to W away, but gets caught in mid air by a Thresh Q. Tristana's W (self displacement) is negated by Thresh's Q displacement. This is also the case with Blitzcrank and Nautilus .

Another Example:

  • Poppy attempts to full Ult charge displace a Nautilus , but right after the ult hits Nautilus Q's Poppy. Due to the delay his Q's effect takes place after he has already been displaced by Poppy's ultimate resulting in him spidermaning back to Poppy.

The only way for Graves to have survived that was to not get hit by Poppy's displacement since he dash is instant and can't be primed like Ezreal Tristana Quinn Caitlyn . Although he could have ulted to cause a primed displacement since it knocks him back, though not sure it would be worth.

Hope this helps clear up things.
