GAME KICKS ME OUT WHEN LOST CONNECTION (BUG OR ON PURPOSE?)

i was picking next in the champ select and i lost connection asking me to shutdown. then blacks with the L sign in the center then next thing i know im the lobby. press find game the i got punished and had to wait 5 mins? wtf if this keeps going i have to wait 20 mins to get to a game -_-
