3's ranked lobby is broken

The 3's lobby has been broken for quite a while now. After every game, creating a new lobby takes you back into the lobby from the previous game saying that you're friends are already in it. You cannot invite them and trying to kick the ghost players results in an error message from the server saying the lobby is not found. The only fix for it seems to create a 5's lobby and then cancel it.
