The New Patcher has tons of issues:

So ever since the new patcher came out, I have a problem that occurs every time I try to load league. When I click on the icon, the logo pops up, then disappears, and pops up again, and then I get nothing. The patcher doesn't come up until the 2nd time I run the program, and I always have to end the first instance that I launched that won't come up.

This happens every time I load up the patcher.

The second error I get doesn't happen every time I try to play, but at the very least on 50% of the times I go to play. I type in my password to log in, it says authentication successful, then pops up a message that says it couldn't contact the servers and to try again. This literally happens every other time I play, where I have to reload the client from the patcher.

However, neither of these is my current issue.

My patcher will not pass 243mb remaining. I have patched twice, and reinstalled, and every time I wait 3+ hours after it stops at 243mb, close it, and upon reopening it, it scans files for about 20-25 minutes, then starts redownloading the patch, and freezes again at 243mb. I literally cannot play league of legends right now.

I really feel like while the new patcher looks better and more 'modern', it has done nothing but create issue after issue for me playing. IDK what to do right now, because I plain and simple can't play.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Double check your firewall settings and make sure all 7(?) league ports are open.

Even though you reinstalled, run the repair. [Has helped]

Reboot computer [probably not the solution here but do anyway]

That's all I got for now. The failure to log in on occasion is wide spread and is Riots problem, not yours.
