I THINK I HAVE A BUG WITH MY CLIENT (MINIMIZING THEN RE-MAXING)

As of lately I've been having a lot of issues with the league client/game client. The most ANNOYING one is when I'm in a league game and I hear my Facebook, Skype, Curse voice, etc go off, so when i die in game, i'll minimize the game to respond to whomever, then when I re-maximize the game, I cant open shop, i cant upgrade my abilities, etc. I have found no answer to fixing this besides just leaving the game in general, then start the game back up, then it works fine. problem with this besides the minor ,but extremely annoy inconvenience, is that this causes me to be Afk in game for 1-2 minutes. which can make a difference. Has anyone else had this issue? Does anyone know how I can fix this? Any help would be appreciated!
