i was in a rank and i choose rek sai but i cant lock her in i spam the butten but it dont do anything

I had a similar bug to this the other day, the new champ select had come to me as 3rd pick on my team. I locked in; the button turned grey but still read "lock in" and surely enough...as the game went to start it kicked me and gave me the 5 min queue for dodging.
i tried to pick but my champ was stolen so I changed who I wanted but when I tried to lock in it wouldn't rejester
