League Client Alpha Won't Start

I just installed the League Client Alpha just yesterday. I updated the game using the alpha client just this morning. After doing that, I started the original client. After that happened I noticed that all of the shortcuts to the the alpha (both on the desktop and in the start menu) disappeared. After reinstalling the alpha client, it doesn't start at all now. It just has the "bug splat" bug reporter come up every time. How can I fix this?
