Guinsoo's Rage applied on-hit affects to yourself

If you build a Guinsoo's Rageblade and stack the passive to 6, on-hit affect start applying to yourself. I noticed I was slowing myself, cleaving my armor with black cleaver, and chunking my health away with Blade of the Ruined King and Bloodrazor.
