I played a support game in ranked and i noticed it was possible to relic the ZZ minions, but it doesn't give gold so i don't see the point of it being able to relic. I think this is a bug.

Interesting to note. Relicing the larger ZZ'rot minions makes sense because they do more dmg. Even without the gold gain, it's worth it to slap those lil fuckers.
