Hotkeys wont work, but i can still type

I have had it. I cant play this game anymore because i cant use my hotkeys. I can still type in game, including the qwer keys, but when i try to use an ability, they dont work. And seeing from the past, Riot is either choosing to ignore the issue, or still after 4 years has not found a fix to it. If you know how to fix it let me know, otherwise i cant play anymore, and therefore have wasted a lot of time and money on this game.
