i updated to windows 10 yesterday and League of legends work just fine but today this happened... after i clicked launch there is just black screen and i can only hear the log in music pls help i tried repairing and it doesnt work and and i also tried the force repatch and it also doesnt work can anyone fix it
i have the exact same problem, updated to W10 an hour ago and tried all those things. It does seem to work tho; you can type in your password and log in, and even join games, but the black screen doesn't go away...
I don't think this is W10 thing, since I have Windows 7, haven't installed any updates in the last month and today I can't login, because of black screen.
I had just the same problem after updating to windows 10, but guess what? I found the problem!!! So you right-click your League shortcut, properties, compatibility, and UNCHECK compatibility mode. Press apply, restart League, if you want to you can thank me after playing a game The problem could be in some other thing for other people, but for me, this was the problem, you should try it (I hope I got all the words right, my pc doesn't operate in English)
