Dodging Solo Q

So I recently queued up for a solo q game on toplane.

Unfortunately, there were a few circumstances wich forced me to dodge the game and close the client. (that was before everyone finished picking Champions) To my surprise, when I started the game again, I was in the loading screen of the game I just tried to dodge. My guess is that I still had to play this game (which i lost btw) because you can stay logged in with the new client. So when i tried to dodge I basically just closed the window and didnt log out of the game. Please just let me dodge the game if I exit the client. I really hate playing Riven into Garen + Yuumi
