League client wont let us log in wrong user or password RIot please fix

Same for me. I thought someone hacked into my acc. and changed my password!

The same problem. Started to happen after my computer crashed. After the PC restart, the client said that it has been downgraded and will be patched now. However, I cannot log in, so it cannot patch it...

I am having the same issue. My password works to log me in here, but not in client.

[FIX] : When you're PC crashes, it is going to change your default region on leauge, so change your region wait a couple of mins and login :).

(This worked for me so if you still have issues, my appologies)

Having SAME issue, Incorrect details on 3 different accounts but can log into website, I think my problem has to due with a bug in the client/Launcher when detecting what version to run , Im getting a pop up that "we have detected blah, We have downgraded and will attempt to patch now." But no patching begins.... Gotta love it, I was mid game too. Now im going to come back to a low priority queue and a 20 minute wait time for a problem that I have no control over =(

Edit: Now after relaunching client several times, ALWAYS AS ADMIN, It has finally decided to patch the client, to the patch I was using initially... and Logged me in.. Lesson is, If it says we have downgraded your client and will now reupdate and doesnt start, close it and reopen as admin, If it doesnt work still.. try unplugging it and then Try turning it off and turning it back on again. Edit #2. Aaaand Called it LEAVER Buster is BROKEN: 20 min queue because of a TECHNICAL ISSUE WTF... /raging

Riot please fix this bug. I even initiated a full repair and it didn't work. I also changed my password and that didn't even work.

Yeah I just got kicked out of a ranked game and now it's not letting me log back in, it's saying wrong username or password, now I'm going to get priority queued because we were winning.

Same happened to me. Was loading into a game but got disconnected. I closed the game completely and restarted it, and noticed I couldn't log in at all, saying my password was incorrect even though I was able to log into this website prefectly fine. I restarted my whole computer and still had the same results. Until this is fix, I have to resort to playing... Heroes of the storm... god help me...

im having the same problem now I was playing then it needed a update so I was doing it then windows needed one so it started the windows download then when it was all finish it comes up with password or username incorrect ive tried hextech repair tool and reinstalling and force patching it still wont work I'm thinking about giving up on the game
