Hey guys discovered that Sion ultimate is cancelled by the portal gates which stops possible Sion ultimates from fountain to blue buff team fights or outside base walls.

To be honest, I dont see why you would want to waste an ult going from blue to the fountain, but still, unintentional

Gates seem pretty buggy tbh. I had one game where Darius ulted me, BUT, he pressed R chasing me and it went off as I passed gate, hitting me way after I was in/beyond the gate. Afterwards, enemies would pass through the gates as if they didn't exist. It was silliness. I never reported though because... let's face it, Riot rarely gives board posts any attention ): Hope they see yours though! Makes me wonder if it has probs with other spells like gragas body slam. Would be interesting to test these (unlike spells such as nid leap which go over walls, I'm curious about spells like grags or sion where it stops the spell on collision or if it's JUST him).

I think the gates must have similar coding to Azir's ult, which has also been known to stop ally Sions.

I may have to test this, in your video every time you ult, it looks like the part where you actually collide has been cut out of the video, and you aren't stunned, plus the animation for cancelling his ult plays.

All of this together kinda makes it hard to believe. I mean, i can totally see riot doing this, but your video evidence makes me skeptical

That shouldn't stop Sion, it could be very important to saving a teammate.
