DC from game and now its patching...

So im on skype with my friend, duo queuing ranked, and I get DC from the game and he didnt and when i try to reconnect i have to patch and im just sitting here SLOWLY scanning files for some random reason while i can hear my friend still playing in the game just fine... this is ridiculous riot im gonna get a ban for being UNABLE to rejoin the game
