Mac takes long to enter a game

Since about the last three updates it takes a ridiculous amount of time to enter the game from the champions screen, i keep joining in about 2-3 minutes after the game has started despite the top left saying i have 30-60 ms. Few times it has not let me enter the game at all, it says on 96% for over 10 minutes.
