Double gold income works!

Hey so i just played a game of ARAM with Aatrox and since i came in 2 min late i could buy 2 items. I bought avarice blade and the face of the mountain tier 2 thing. The gold income worked for both items in all ways. The only thing im not sure of is whether my teammates would get gold from the minions killed with face of the mountain. They wouldn't respond but anyway; share your thoughts please! i was 1k ahead in gold at the end of the game from our farming + killing tristana.
