Game Client Remake Failure

Just finished a game where our mid laner was "loaded" in @ 100%, they were duo-queued with someone who explained the loading screen said 100% for them but they were unable to actually load into the game. At approximately 2:50 seconds the mid laner actually disconnected, giving us the global message while she continued to sit in fountain. 3 minutes came and passed and we were not given an option to remake the game. Finally around 5 minutes, as the opposing mid laner was level 6, our mid laner loaded in, proceeded to head to lane and try and play the game but they got, in a word, worked.

This was a ranked game, and I know Riot is very well-established on their stance of not giving retroactive loss forgiveness typically, but at the very least, this either seems like a major bug of the remake system or a flaw that should be strengthened. I absolutely hate posting to these forums because it feels like I am screaming at an empty abyss only for nothing to be done, but I'd really appreciate any help in getting this exposure by bumps e.t.c. Riot support if you are out there, if you really exist, I wouldn't mind a loss forgiveness; been a roller coaster day that saw me a net gain of 2 LP. That same 2 LP was just lost due to this skewed match that I had to play through so I am now sitting at 0 LP. I don't think 2 LP will break the banks ;)
